The King Throw Blanket is not considered a weighted blanket. It weighs only 3kgs and that is mainly due to its larger size - 70 x 90" / 177 x 228 cm. 

We take weighted blankets very seriously, as many of our kuddlers use them to help with chronic conditions relating to mental and physical wellbeing. More research is needed to confirm the efficacy of weighted blankets of this size. But rest assured, we’re following the issue closely to ensure we’re always bringing you items of the highest quality.
